Our federal and state governments are highly motivated to ensure they are prepared to recover from an incident (fire, flood, or biohazard) and quickly resume their mission. A continuity of operations plan (COOP) includes "what to do" once the first responders leave the facility. Granite Gate supports the COOP by providing services to remediate damage caused by water, smoke, and/or contamination, Granite Gate responds rapidly to stop further damage and to remediate existing damage. We secure facilities, stabilize/repair sensitive records, neutralize biohazards, and clear-out debris. We inventory, remove, store, and return contents at the direction of facility managers.
Successfully containing damages resulting from an incident requires an understanding of how to respond to an incident before it occurs. Granite Gate is prepared to face situations that could cause significant disruption to our government by pre-positioning our technical resources. The minutes and hours after an incident are particularly crucial in order to minimize the impact of the event. Granite Gate has teams of technicians (veterans - trained in remediation technologies) in place as part of an incident mitigation plan to assure that our institutions are ready to recover and perform their mission.
Prepare – Respond – Remediate - Rebuild
